This organization really cares about people. Please support them, if you can, 100% of donations go directly to people that need it most.

The volunteers and staff work tirelessly to support the workers who make it possible for us to do (and eat) so many things we take for granted. They work tirelessly politically to fight against terrible legislation as well. FSSW works hard, well, and kindly.

These people work hard all year round to help the downtrodden and work for economic justice. They will help any service worker, even a minimum wage cashier or other retail customer service person, though much of their focus is agricultural. They'll never turn someone away, and they conduct door to door food drives, including for produce, get donations of clothes and school supplies, organize swap events, find low cost legal, medical and dental professionals to help people in need. No means testing, just a friendly face and a willingness to help anyone on word alone. They live on a shoestring budget for overhead and waste nothing. I wish I could help them more, but I lost one of my days off and that has made it harder. Totally egalitarian; no double standard here, their groceries come from the food drives and donations too. Standing directly between the orange horror's tank and gun equipped gestapo and the vulnerable with amazing courage, since that puts them in the sights too. They need you too; help them.

This organization is doing amazing work to change the conditions of poverty for people in the state of Oregon. I would encourage every Oregonian to donate their time, resources , and funds to help this organization carry out the amazing work they do every day.
