Kachka Alfresca serves some of Kachka’s classic dishes (dumplings, Herring Under a Fur Coat, caviar and roe), but most of the menu is essentially a new one, a creation inspired by chef Bonnie Morales’ upbringing in Chicago in the 90s, and the American food of the era that she craves for comfort — Cobb Salad, Spinach-Artichoke Dip, stuffed potato skins, burgers, molten chocolate cake — but each made from scratch with a very Kachka twist.
