This is the 2nd project we had Metalwood work on... and we love it as much as the first one. We were looking for a functional -- but distinctive -- railing to complete the front porch extension we did, and Seamus & Becca (?) exceeded our expectations. You can't always get solid / practical / decorative / custom in one package, but they managed to pull it off brilliantly. Thanks again, guys... and you can be sure that if we have a 3rd project come up, we'll look to Metalwood first. Great quality at a great price... what's not to love?

I am learning to weld at the moment and stopped by Metalwood Salvage to see if they had some practice scrap. I found that and then some. If you're looking for inspiration, a wealth of materials, tools and knowledge, this is the place to go. They also offer classes, when I mentioned a busy work schedule Jannette didn't hesitate to offer individual shorter time spanned lessons on my schedule. I know I'll be back there frequently.

Our first purchase was an iron coat rack that we love, the second was an iron and wood bookshelf. We liked the bookshelf so much that we had a second custom built that included two bins on the bottom for backpacks, we call this out “landing station.” Finally they built some custom stairs for our dogs to access a window dogs door. We’re extremely happy with the people and the products they make at Metalwood salvage, we’re also very pleased with the costs.

Amazing little place for smalls. Anything metal! They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but showed me great alternatives for my project. Absolutely will be stopping in time and time again. May even give a whirl at the welding classes they offer? That looked rad.
