I've worked for Terri Treat for almost 10 years now and have found her to be the most supportive employer I have EVER had in all my time as a working citizen. Yes, she is a small business owner and yes she does have to make decisions based on the big picture. These often don't jive with what an individual may want but those are the tough choices you have to make when you have the fate of a whole company on your shoulders. If you want to work for a company who has been in business and keeping Portland residents employed for almost 40 years, consider working for Natural Felt or Cotton Cloud.

I have worked here for 5 years. In the last 3 years I have asked the Owner of the company (Terri Treat) to pay a medical bill that was issued to me due to an accident at work. She had told me for the last 3 years that it was not a priority for her. Now that it is impacting my credit poorly I had to take her to court so she would pay the bill. She does not seem to treat men the same way that she does women. She cuts corners on safety and quality just so she can make money. Some of the products have been known by staff to fall severely short on standards. I had felt like I was ripping customers off by making poor quality products just to save time. It wasn't always that way, however with recent management it fails to thrive and continues to follow a downwards spiral ultimately leading to employees leaving and lawsuits. I recommend you do not work here, nor buy from Terri Treat owned businesses.
