Hadn't been at the shop in like 6 years, since the last setup Pete did for me on my old bass. First guy I called when I was ready to upgrade. Set up a nice new Shen perfectly for the music I do. Great service, excellent communication, 10/10.

What an amazing shop for those with upright bass needs! Pete’s wisdom and skill is the best around and he gave me a lot of sage wisdom and options on improving the fingerboard on my Kay! Thanks Pete!!

Really great service. Saw him for a new pickup and new set of strings. We tried some pickup options and then he strung up the new set. I'll be using his service again!

I'll update the review when I get my bass back. But initial impression is great; he's got a cozy home shop, very practical and realistic about repairs, cute dog, and was very friendly and reasonably priced!

I had an amazing experience at Pete's Bass Shop. He is an incredible person. I'm a newbie to the bass and have a very entry level instrument. I called Pete's shop because so many people told me that I have to talk to him if I want to get into a good playing bass. On the phone he told me that he had a bass at a price that might suit my needs. I went down to the shop expecting to trade my old bass and pick up the one that he described to me. He inspected my instrument and told me that it was much better quality than the one that he described on the phone. He explained that I needed new strings and little bit of work on my instrument to make it sound the way that I wanted. But he would not recommend that I trade my instrument in for the one that he described on the phone. That is incredible. Pete passed up a potential sale. He left the money on the table in order that I might save money to buy the bass that I really want. There's not many people in the world who would do that. Pete passed up the immediate sale to get a lifelong customer. And that's exactly what he got.
