Visited here for the first time, and enjoyed it very much. Reserved a 2pm time slot on Sunday, and parking was easy to find with a short walk to the entrance. There is so much care put into this place. I think it’s appropriately priced to help maintain the health and beauty of this garden. I was overjoyed that there was a nice and clean bathroom that was heated! The cafe and tea spots were closed, but there was art gallery showing & the gift shop was open. We spent about an hour walking around and sitting down just to relax and enjoy the calmness. The gift shop was very well priced with lots of goodies on sale. I bought 2 tea cups and post cards which came with origami birds they let you take at the cash register. I would love to return when all the amenities are open again!

This so far is my favorite place to have visited in Portland. The views here were incredible. I've had a long standing love for Japanese culture. And this did not disappoint in any way. The experience was tranquil and peaceful. It takes near an hour or so to get through but you can take as much time as you like to enjoy and dish it so in. So if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is perfect.

Family-friendly garden with easy walking paths. They’re currently open during covid but you need to get advance tickets there are student discounts on their YouTube. You can make reservations for up to the month ahead. Otherwise, there’s street parking available as well. There’s bathrooms available at the front (turn left then left). The cafe is open and serves light bites and drinks; there’s outdoor dining. The paths are all pretty flat and some are concrete, some are compact dirt. There are a lot of extremely rare Beautiful Trees like wow. The atmosphere is very tranquil and the garden has a lot of benches in case you need to sit. The garden is very well maintained and there are plenty of signs that indicate where you are. Overall, this is a very pretty spot to get some fresh air for a couple of hours.

This is a must-visit place if you're in Portland and you like gardens. It's so...green. I loved visiting this place and enjoying the ambiance. It would be an ideal site to take engagement pics or something like that.
