PDX Rafting is awesome. The staff are passionate and truly enjoy what they do for a living. Scott, Max and Kasey(Sorry if misspelled) are great guides. Max was our guide and is passionate and really loves what he does. Not to mention he is hilarious. If you are looking for a rafting company to pick, look no further. This is your place. SIDE NOTE: A woman(far left in photo) visiting from out of town realized she was stranded after she took an Uber from where she was staying in Portland all the way out to the White Salmon starting point without realizing how far it was. I offered her a ride since the place she was staying was just over the hill from where I live in Portland. I later found out the staff pulled her aside and made sure she was comfortable and felt safe riding with me since she didn't know me. I really respect the effort they put in to make sure she felt safe and didn't feel obligated or uncomfortable accepting my ride offer. Not a lot of event staff, guides or people in general would show that kind of concern for one of their customers. The staff of Portland Rafting company are more than just great white water rafting guides, they are great people as well.

My wife and I went on 9-22-19 and had a blast. It was a cold rainy day but they provided great warm gear and wetsuits that kept us surprisingly warm. Our guides were all a perfect mix of safety conscious and fun and entertaining. Andrew was the guide on our raft and was awesome. Gave us the exact ride we wanted and entertained the whole raft with a mix of real and BS stories/history about the river and surrounding area. Will definitely raft with this company again next time we're in Portland
Best experience ever! It was all of our first time and so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment they took my call until the end of our trip everyone was so friendly and super knowledgeable. We all had such an amazing time and our instructors were amazing, and made us all feel super comfortable. We definitely will be booking with PDX Rafting again and recommend them to all of our friends and family.
I had a splendid time with this company. The owner, Scott, is passionate about what he does and it really showed through his enthusiasm. He has a couple of eclectic river guides working with him, Max and Mike aka Captain Crunch. These guys are eccentrics and knowledgeable about the White Salmon river, which made the experience both entertaining and intellectually stimulating. The river itself has a combination of quick rapids and stillness so it has a little something for everybody. I will definitely go with these guys again for my future rafting trips.
These guys are great!! First time rafting the white Salmon River and I wouldn't do it through any other company. The team of guides they have are all super nice and knowledgeable of the river. We had an amazing day and will definitely be going back again this season with more people. The river had a bunch of good sized rapids but nothing too intense. I highly recommend anyone check it out especially with the Portland rafting co!
