My kids are having a good time. Instructors are attentive, firm, but fair. They get individual instruction every time .The owner is great with the kids and adults. Three of my family started at different times and they worked with us in an extremely reasonable manner to catch us up.

What a great asset for Powhatan and surrounding communities! WWMAI is family oriented with exceptionally accomplished instructors teaching practical applications of concepts and movements from various martial arts disciplines, with a focus on high moral compass, team work, and fun. They also offer multiple training options, including fitness classes for the ladies, jujutsu, boxing, and outstanding programs for kids.

If you see these kids in a family oriented area and plan on having a fun day with your family and children, just don’t. Turn around and go home or find somewhere else to go. My 5 year old son was punched scratched and held under the water at cobblestone by some of these bullies. Luckily someone was paying attention, so he wasn’t drowned to death. Other people’s children were also victims. One of the ladies in charge of the group was also notified of the situation and did nothing. This reminds me of the cobras on the movie karate kid. We’ll just let them beat up random kids and do nothing, it’ll be good practice. If I remember correctly one of the most important parts of martial arts is being taught self control. It’s real shame to go spend your hard earned money to have a nice day with your family and have a day like this.
