As a autonomous division of PrairieCare, the PrairieCare Institute is intended to amplify PrairieCare's vision of transforming psychiatric care through education, research and charitable giving. The focus is on creatively pushing the boundaries of preconceived notions and expanding the frame of reference for what is relevant to psychiatric work. This includes going beyond psychiatric diagnosis to health and wellness generally, and into depth-psychology, understanding social, historical and cultural factors impacting mental and physical health. The PrairieCare Institute hosts office space for like-minded startups, and training programs such as: Leadership Development Program, Acute Crisis Engagement (ACE) and the PrairieCare Mentorship Program. We also offer our space to outside groups to host trainings, conferences, and other events.

Thank you Michael for your timely communication, knowledge of the venue and helping us; the Suicide Survivors' Club present in beautiful, organized and professional surroundings. Michael's knowledge and expertise in creating an environment that matched our presentation made our Story Portrait Workshop come into its own. We use the space for young adult events. Both event spaces are open and airy. Michael does a great job designing the spaces for each event. He is very helpful with logistics! We really appreciate the convenience and friendly nature at Prairie Care Institute.
