As a fellow Singaporean, I highly recommend Prata House. Their prata is comparable to its Singapore flavor. My sons love their cheese & egg prata, and butter chicken masala. I love the chicken Mutabak, remind me of the time growing up in Singapore. If you like Mutton, they do have that option. I also tried their Curry puff, it is pack with curry spices, very flavorful and slightly spicy, too bad when I buy it to go, the crust is not as crunchy as when you eat it there. As for the drink, Milo Dinosaur, all time favorite, for kids and adults.

I went to Prata House for the first time today with two friends and our experience was fantastic! Krishna took great care of us and was very hospitable and friendly. Also, our food came out quickly. Considering that we showed up right as they opened I was impressed by this since my experience at most restaurants is that the first customer often gets served the slowest. Also, the place was very clean and they are taking all the proper Covid-19 precautions. Between us 3 guys, we ordered and shared the chicken biryani, the aloo gobi, and the butter chicken along with some orders of plain prata, a mango lassi, and some masala chai tea. Everything was 100% ON POINT! I especially loved their chai tea, prata, and butter chicken. I will definitely be returning and will recommend all my friends to go as well. Keep it up Prata House!
Glad to find this restaurant. I am from Singapore and this restaurant takes me back to home. Their chicken curry puff and Samosas are must try in their appetizers. Their Prata’s are the best in the town.
I waited an hour for 3 to go orders, place was not even busy, and the chicken was undercooked for my nasi lemak Worse trifecta ever It was not busy. There was only one table seated for outside dining. I know it's not fast food . When I ordered by phone you said 30 min and then when I arrived to pickup it was another 30min wait. Come on.
The only positive aspect about Prata was that their waiters were very kind and friendly! The first negative point was that it took about 40 minutes to get the food as they seem to be quite understaffed. The food was unfortunately the worst part of that experience. We ordered chicken prata, mutton muttabaq, chicken muttabaq, and noodles. The noodles were said to be served with « a half boiled egg » according to the menu, but were instead served with a half cooked fried egg. The noodle tasted like shrimp paste, and severely lacked flavor. The mutton muttabaq was made of 2% of lamb filling, and the rest was just huge chunks of onions and some egg. It should have been called a onion muttabaq. Same goes for the chicken muttabaq although they were slightly more generous with the chicken. The chicken prata was also filled with onions, and not that tasty. The butter chicken was quite good on the high point. Unfortunately, I have to say that this was the worst food I have tasted in the United States. I encourage them to better their cooking skills, and lower waiting times.
