The team of ladies at this location are awesome! They made my root canal experience so much nicer than I had anticipated. My pain afterwords, luckily, wasn't too much at all to deal with and the next day, I didn't have hardly any. They made me feel comfortable and I loved the play-by-play that Dr. Tavares gave me during the procedure! Thank you all for your awesomeness!!!

I was very disappointed by this business. When I first when there I got the impression that this was an independently owned dental practice, but after further investigation it is most definitely a corporate entity concerned with making money. Like other reviews said, on my first visit I was told that my dental hygiene was lacking that I needed a deep cleaning and several other costly treatments that were not covered by insurance. The first indicator that this place was a scam was that it was the dental hygienist who was making recommendations about procedures and treatments I needed, not the actual dentist. I brush and floss everyday and have never received the recommendations made by this practice. I held off on doing any of the costly procedures to see if I could improve for the next visit, but when I came back I got the same story. They made me feel like my teeth were going to fall out of my head. I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist without telling him any of the issues PHDC told me. His review of my teeth was they were in fantastic condition, no cavities, no bleeding, no gum recession, absolutely no need for a Deep Cleaning whatsoever. When I told him about my experience here, he confirmed it was definitely a scam and that people my age with teeth in my condition have no need for a deep cleaning and that recommending this procedure is used as a money making tool by corporate dentists. To be fair, the front office staff was pleasant and, except for the lies the hygienist told me, she was also very nice. The Dentist (cant remember her name) just came in quickly, glanced at my teeth, and didn't spend much time going over my treatment, just agreed with what the hygienist said and left. Avoid this place if you can and if pricey treatments are suggested, get a second opinion.

I've been to Preston Hollow Dental Care multiple times over the last couple years. Typically the experience has been great and the cleanings have been quick. Unfortunately, with my most recent visit this was not the case. After the cleaning I was informed that I owed about 450 that I had to pay out of pocket that my insurance wouldn't cover. Left with no other choice, I paid it and called my insurance after. Turns out Preston Hollow had never sent what was done over to my insurance and forced me to pay everything out of pocket! Cut to two months later after going back and forth between my insurance and Preston Hollow multiple times and I get a trivial 80 refund back. Did I mention that Preston Hollow went back and changed the prices that they had charged me after the fact to charge for more? Or that I still have not received a accurate invoice or receipt for the final billing? Don't take your chances here, go to one of the other dozen dentists in the area that know how to bill properly.

I hate going to the dentist, but the staff at Preston Hollow Dental are incredible. Every member of the staff from the front desk, the hygienist, Dr. Cha, and even paying your bill, everyone makes you feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. They give great effort to making sure you are comfortable and informed of the work needed. I have brought three of my children to see Dr. Cha, my youngest being five, and we have all had great experiences. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
