This is a great place to ride. Laurie relates to kids and can teach anyone how to ride. She is very knowledgeable and both kids and adults love her. The horses are very well cared for and the stalls are some of the cleanest around-Thanks to Phillipe. After visiting other barns and trying out other trainers. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

My daughter was not yet 5 when I contacted Laurie about riding lessons. I knew she was young, but she had a passion for horses that I had never seen before. After talking with Laurie, she agreed to teach her. That was 2 years ago, and we cant imagine life with out Colonial Equestrian. Laurie is the most patient, caring instructor a child could ask for. She believes in all her students, and consistently shows them that they can do more than they believe they can. I would recommend Laurie and Colonial Equestrian to anyone who has a child with a passion for riding horses. We could never imagine riding anywhere else.

We love Laurie and Phillipe! Laurie is a fantastic instructor and cares for all of her students. The barn is nearly spotless and all the horses are gorgeous and well loved and cared for. We tried a few other barns in the area and it was a very easy decision after meeting Laurie. You won't be disappointed!

Our daughter has improved her riding skills greatly! due to Laurie's hands-on training skills. She works well with our daughter and her confidence has improved while under Laurie's training supervision. Laurie is excellent with the horses and the students. She is a great trainer! Also, she has very good horses for her students to ride.

I have been riding at Colonial Equestrian Center for 4 years. I started riding here after I moved to Texas and had to switch barns. From the moment I first came to the barn I knew I would love it. Laurie and Philippe are the kindest people I have ever met. They welcome any new riders and families with open arms. Everyone at the barn is one big family. It is the best environment to have your child learn to ride in. Everyone is kind, caring, and helpful. Laurie and Philippe take amazing care of the horses and Laurie is the absolute best riding instructor there is. She's patient and she really knows what she's talking about. In my 4 years riding here, I have learned so much more than I ever did back at my old barn. Colonial Equestrian Center is the best place to be. I absolutely love it here and I know any new rider will feel the same.
