Went here for sunrise yoga, played some tennis in the afternoon., and did the Mahola mixer golf lesson and three holes that they offer on Monday nights. All were a ton of fun, staff and the golf instructor were awesome, and a really great way to see some amazing views in Princeville. Highly recommend this place!

Spectacular course and well ranked on a national level, so you're going to pay a lot to play. They claim they use dynamic pricing, which I'm fine with, if they actually did implement it. But when you pay full price for a course with half of its bunkers in a state of disarray, something has gone wrong. I shouldn't have to pay 100% of the usual cost if the course is only at 75% of its usual condition. There was also a lot of debris on many holes and crews were working to clean it up. The course was mostly in good condition otherwise, despite the monsoon like weather that hit 3 days earlier. And it really is a spectacular course; I just feel like i was ripped off considering the overall current condition of the place.

Incredible golfing experience. Its hard to compare anything other course to the Makai when it comes to beauty. I won't take any stars off, but please reconsider your pricing, as its too expensive as is. Yes, it is quite possibly one of the most beautiful golf courses on earth... but lets make it obtainable to the average visitor ok? Been coming here off and on since 2006

Stopped here on our honeymoon after having hole 7 of this course as my computer background all summer. The views are insane, the course was great. Paid 325 for 18 holes, a cart, rental clubs, 6 balls, and some range balls. Seemed like a high price for this course in my opinion but I enjoyed it and the views were worth the price.

Absolutely spectacular golf experience. The ocean and mountain views on 3, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14 are breathtaking. If you are lucky you will see breaching humpback whales and dancing albatross. I’ve played here for the past two years and the staff provides excellent customer service...from Tommy in the clubhouse to the starter Hideki who always gets me out for 36 holes and Jamie who takes care of everything at the end of the round. Course conditions were good, bunker sand seemed to be fluffy on some holes and more packed on others, but were well maintained. Greens are slow and hard to read (less break than you thin). Very expensive, but so convenient if you stay in Princeville. Get the 3 day pass to lower cost.
