Had a great stay at the Cliffs. They have beautiful, unique rooms, and gorgeous views. They also have have a nice hiking trail on the back side of the property that goes down to a beach. If you have kids, get the 2 bedroom option. They get a loft 2nd floor room with 2 beds and a desk. They loved having their own space. Only have 2 issues with The Cliffs that drops a star. They have 1 pool area and it's a little small. It was fine for our trip but we were there during the Covid Kauai lockdown, so it wasn't very busy. I'm sure at full capacity it would be packed. Second issue is that they only have their office open from 9-6pm. It really limits your time to get help, and since we didn't arrive on our plane until 6pm, by the time we got to the hotel, we needed to wait over 30 minutes in the dark for someone to come by and get us checked in, despite calling an hour ahead to let them know our arrival time. Other than those two items, we definitely had a great experience and would still return in the future.

Nice location, units are a bit dated, lots of stuff-y air. Wonderful physical location between Poipu and the grand wyatt/shipwrecks. Be prepared to walk a long ways between the parking lot and your unit, .35 miles each way carrying your luggage

Place is poorly maintained you're being overcharged for nothing. Plantation Hale offers the same amenities and better service for half the price.

This place basically gives you a full size luxury apartment with a full kitchen, patio, good internet, large bedroom with a desk, and quiet. There’s nothing not to like here, for me it hit the nail on the head. Would recommend to anyone.

A great place to come and enjoy Hawaii friendly staff. They definitely have the aloha spirit. We've been coming here for years and they keep improving it. I mean that's the only reason we come back.

Most of the people were nice except two polynesians at the front desk. I don't think they like tourists which makes me wonder why they work there! Why did we have to pay 100.00 extra for a wristband to use the facilities that we already paid through our timeshare to use. Extortion!!! Conciergs were great and hospitable. Security guys were great. We didn't get in until 7:00 pm. Office was closed. Had to take a taxi. 114.00 because our rental car was ca celled. My family had to dodge the rain for an hour until a security person showed up and let us into a room for the night. Had to upgrade the next morning to a room with a loft. 60.00 a night extra and it looked like quite a few rooms were open. Why the extra cost? The concirge helped us with this after the front desk person said there were no rooms available. Half of the resort was empty. The concierge gave us a room with an ocean view which was very nice. My family had to save for over a year to go on this vacation and i feel we were being dinged for every little thing we did.
