Been coming here since I was a little girl in 1985. Lots to see, hiking, fishing, view points an delicious food from Becky's Cafe an the Ice Cream Shop in the summer. Also camping and renting of cabins are popular at Union Creek Resort.

Really clean and they upgraded us to a cabin since they had extra openings. Great clean beds and spacious place!
We absolutely love this place. This is the second time we have stayed in a cabin here and we are not disappointed.

We were recent guests at Union Creek Resort. The room we stayed in was absolutely filthy and had clearly not been properly cleaned. I’ve included photos with my review. We brought up this issue upon checkout, and the receptionist directed us to reach the manager, Miranda, via their website contact form. We submitted the contact form but never heard back, so we called the hotel and found out Miranda wasn't in again. The woman we spoke with gave us an email address to write directly to her. We never got a response. Is Miranda even a real person? Who knows. Upon check-in, we were charged a 16 pet fee (we had our dog with us) and an additional 35 deep-cleaning fee. We were fine with the 16 pet fee, but the 35 cleaning fee seemed outrageous since we weren't provided with a clean room to begin with. It had dust and clumps of hair on the floor, dust on the surfaces pretty much everywhere, toothpaste stains all over the mirror and wall, old crumbs and spilled sugar on the coffee tray, old coffee stains on the greeting card (we didn’t make any coffee in the room), and stains on the microwave and refrigerator. Frankly, it was disgusting. By the time we realized how dirty the room was (we unloaded our stuff and then went out for a hike), the front desk had already closed for the day. All of the hotels we stayed at throughout our road trip in Oregon had taken extra precautions to clean and sanitize each room carefully to ensure guests’ safety—except Union Creek Resort. We will be contacting the public health officials immediately.

My husband and I stayed here after a day of skiing at Crater Lake. Overall, the cabin was cute, cozy, and warm. I loved the electric fireplace and the shower was amazing- large with great water pressure and nice hot water- just what you need after skiing. But, for 200 a nite, we were both pretty underwhelmed with everything else. For that much money, it's really the little things that count. When you walked into the cabin, there was no entryway mat, so the floors got wet and were slippery due to it being snowy outside. There was no bath mat, so I had to use a hand towel. There was 1 fork in the "full kitchen". Why not just buy a cheap set of silverware? Also, the pillows and bedding were cheap/uncomfortable and there was no artwork/pictures on the wall, which made it pretty plain looking. I would not rent this cabin again- too expensive for what it is.
It was exactly what we needed, a quick place to rest our heads. The cabins are very basic with some limited internet service, but you shouldn't need to be online when there's so much nature around. There is no cell service and Becky's diner across the street is your only option for food. The location is nestled among huge trees and just across the way is Rogue Gorge, which is totally worth checking out.
