My son was born an congenital amputee. They’ve been working with my son for over 2 years now. As a young clueless mom finding a place was scary. My first attempt was prosthetics in motion & I have 0 regrets. This is our second family. I wanted to move out of state but just couldn’t because I didn’t want to leave them. ALL of the staff are really just so understanding and wonderful. Very friendly people. I highly recommend them. They’ve made life so much easier for us. My son loves going. Everything is basically on site so any fixtures is done quickly and efficiently. Clean & spacious office. We just love them. I always look forward to our next appointment. Keep up the great work

I came to Prosthetics in Motion after having ongoing trouble with an existing prosthesis. I had begun to wonder if what I had was simply a bad fit, or if this was just what I had to expect as normal. Before I even came into his office, Chris did a great job of spelling out how the process worked at his facility, his approach to prosthetics generally, and how he would go about evaluating me. And when I got into the office, I was very impressed with the facility and the number of team members, each of whom explained their role in the overall process, and how things might be different and better for me. Part of that included a detailed breakdown of costs and what my responsibility would be. You never like to think about that part, but it is essential so that you’re not surprised at the end. I took delivery of a final leg last week after a very thorough shakeout of the initial fabrication and check socket. We worked on it over a matter of months, which was great in that I got the chance to have a most thorough real-world testing (including hikes in the Catskills). Chris and crew were responsive, understanding, good-humored, and technically savvy at every step of the way. He’s got a great team working with him, and you feel that you are listened to and understood, made welcome at each visit, never rushed, and that these folks truly care about you. It really is wonderful.
Prosthetics In Motion is the best place i have ever been. Its a place where the staffs care about amputees need. The staffs are friendly. The CPO's care about your need. After having my C-Leg from PIM now I am working 10 hours a day in a gas station convience store as a cashier. Its awasome feeling. My self confidence has gone high. Thank you Prosthectics In Motion from bottom of my heart.
I have been an amputee for 56yrs and have been to several Prosthetics and Orthotics. I can not count the many prosthetics legs that were made for me in all those years. What can tell you is that I have even been with PROSTHETIC IN MOTION for about a year and the Prosthetic leg that they made for me is the MOST COMFORTABLE EVER. I want to THANK EVERYONE at Prosthetics in Motion for their EXCELLENT SERVICE.
When I walked into Prosthetics In Motion one year ago I had no idea that this place would change my life so drastically. I recently moved from South Africa to New York and leaving my old prosthetist back home was scary! However, looking back now I see that overcoming my fear of change opened up so many more possibilities. I lost my leg at 11 years old from cancer and became a hip disarticulation amputee, ever since I used crutches with my prosthetic to walk. Constantly in pain and discomfort, feeling unstable and unsafe, my prosthetic leg was often left in the closet. I always dreamed of walking without crutches but over 17 years that dream was beginning to feel more and more distant. Chris and the incredible team at Prosthetics In Motion turned that dream into a reality. They had me walking without assistance the very same day of receiving my new prosthetic. A day I will cherish and forever be grateful for. I not only gained mobility to walk but also gained the freedom of my hands as I no longer needed crutches. I feel locked-in and secure in my prosthetic yet comfortable and am able to go the entire day wearing it now. As if walking wasn't enough, Chris and the team believe that one day I will be able to run. With their knowledge, experience and drive to succeed I to believe that I will run one day. Everyone at PiM plays a pivotal part in your prosthetic happiness. They are all extremely professional, caring and passionate. Everything an amputee would ever hope for in a prosthetic provider. Thank you for everything team!
