Seemed like a very nice club. Good concept on the social and sharing point of vue. I wasnt aware there was a test that needed to be taken before you could go on the water. When I went the first time, the staff there said it was too windy for the test. I went back twice and couldnt take the damn test because it was either too windy or not windy enough. You have to pay the fee before you take the test. I basically paid the full fee and wasnt able to sail even once last year. They should at least let people take the test and then pay. Very disapointed in the unfairness of this situation. Any business that has justice as a value would understand that.

Husband had a negative experience and they would not even acknowledge emails. Very unprofessional to not respond to feedback.

Good place to learn how to sail. I learned how to sail at Camp Fuller. A week after I left I came here for another summer camp. They Enhanced my skills pretty well but sometimes have us to much freedom. Often times groups of 5 kids were put on Capsize-able boats called Quests, without instructors. Nearby are many barges, tugboats, and sometimes the dangerously fast Newport Ferry. They try there best to keep us safe though. Once they told me and my crew to capsize. We knew how to recover OK, but didn’t know how to prevent turtling. The person who taught us how to not turtle got out of the motor boat, and while “”Recovering”” our boat, she turtled it. On the bright side they taught us Rules of the road and safety rules. Definitely sail here!
