Dr. Ivanov is truly a breath of fresh air. Many previous providers that I have tried were incompetent and did not express much compassion in my particular case. With Dr. Ivanov, I truly felt heard and his expertise really shined when discussing my treatment options. I am so glad that I found his practice!

At first I was hesitant to see an online doctor because to me it seemed rather impersonal. However after video chatting with Dr. Ivanov I can assure you that is not the case. Dr. Ivanov took the time to listen to what I had to say and how I was feeling. Not once did he judge me or belittle me for what I am dealing with. He truly is a caring, attentive and knowledgeable doctor. I have found my new psychiatrist and I highly recommend him.

I needed to see a new psychiatrist since my previous one was no longer practicing. He was so far the best psychiatrist I have seen yet. He seemed to care about my needs as well as listen to the symptoms I've had for a while. I am hopeful that I will be able to see him for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend him, he is such a nice person and his staff are amazing as well.

I made an appointment with Dr. Ivanov via TelaDoc for 3:30pm. I waited until 3:40pm to call his office to see if he was available to speak to for a brief moment. The lady on the phone cut me short before I could introduce myself, granted she called back but her delivery was rude. I stated the problem I was having and she continuous kept informing me that this was Dr. Ivanov’s private practice not TelaDoc. Like duh miss, I know that. I was calling to see if he was available to speak with me for a brief moment about if he could help me and if not, there was no need to reschedule. His non English speaking receptionist clearly was not understanding what I was asking because she proceeds to tell me that she cannot share patient information. Was I asking for patient information or to speak with the doctor briefly? If I wasn’t authorized to speak with him, why not just say that and we could avoid all of the confusion? Shortly after getting off the phone with the illiterate receptionist, lo and behold my appointment with Dr. Ivanov was cancelled. Very unprofessional and I would NEVER consider him or refer him to anyone who needs a psychiatrist.

I am incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Ivanov and would highly recommend him to anyone searching for an empathetic, experienced physician specialist. Connecting with a new provider can be hard enough in the best of circumstances, let alone in a different city during a pandemic. But Dr. Ivanov proved it doesn't have to be that way: he was not only accommodating—i.e., conducting a telemedicine visit with me late on a Friday evening—but also refreshingly considerate, understanding, knowledgeable, engaging, and trustworthy. His office is also remarkably responsive and clear in its communications. Simply put, Dr. Ivanov is a superb physician and person who I wholeheartedly recommend and will return to for future care.
