This is a first time visit for us. We were rather excited. After sitting and waiting for our food for almost an hour we were getting rather testy. Our waitress would ask the tables around us if they were doing okay but was making it a point to avoid ours. During this time, she didn't ask us if we needed refills or anything. She stopped by and told us that it would be one more minute because there was a big party in the back but again did not ask if we needed anything. The young kiddos were growing restless at this point. When our food finally got to the table, the kiddos food was nice and hot which was a good thing aside form waiting for so long with terrible service. My fiances steak was the temp of the room, like his steak had been cooked before anything else. My chicken fried steak was cold and then some of my potato wedges were raw inside. We received the check and there was an additional food tax added on top of the check. I asked for it to be explained and the waitress said she didn't know. And then said she THINKS wabunsee(SP) county has a food tax. As I said we will never been back to this place. Absolutely awful food and terrible service. If I could have left zero stars to write a review i would have done so.

Our steaks were good. However, for the price you would have thought that our steaks and baked potatoes would come out hot and not luke warm. Service was lacking too. Probably will not be making the road trip to eat there again.
Puffy's Streak & Ice House is an awesome place to eat at and the food is also awesome. I love the fry chicken and the home made bread. Puffy's is a friendly small town café... Come and check it out for yourself how good the food is. The steaks melt in your mouth. Thanks Puffy's for the awesome place and the awesome food.
Jim and his staff do catering for me all the time. They are the bomb. Steaks and BBQ are the best. Trust me you can't go wrong. The scalloped potatoes are the best I have ever eaten.
Ambiance, cleanliness, delicious Homemade food, impeccable service the owner makes you feel right at home it's worth the trip. Perfect place for the family or that special night out. Puffys catering service is the same as the restaurant can't go wrong
The fried chicken is the best I've ever had. It's so salty and I have made great meorries there! And I making the drive from Kansas City to come out right now!
I love this place. The only place I know of that has the best liver & gizzard's.
Great tasting food! Took my family here for dinner. I will definitely be coming back!
