Expect a lot of last minute cancellations and delayed appointments. Dr.KO is good, but does not keep up time on appointments. During my recent visit it was well over 30 minute overdue. If she can let the clients know how much further it will take, that makes it easier. During my visit when i asked her, she did not give me an answer and said she does not know the wait time. People will not be ready to wait for unknown amount of time.

ViviAnne was our midwife for my second pregnancy. I highly recommend her. She was easy to connect with, caring, organized, and practical. Best of all, she was available via text or call whenever I had a question. She made good, level-headed decisions through our labor and transfer to a hospital that were in the best interest of me and baby, and worked well with the doctor and hospital staff during delivery. Follow-up care was great. We miss seeing her regularly now! Dr. KO was great as well as birth assistant and for bodywork.

Words cannot begin to describe the care I have received from the entire Nest team. I have been under the care of Laura Rose Gage and Dr KO from their very first days as providers on the Palouse. I have also been a doula and have had the pleasure of being colleagues with ViviAnne for many years. My journey through fertility challenges was not ‘just treated’ by these women, but I was seen and heard in ways that made me feel truly cared for and was able to explore all the aspects of my health, spirit, and life. Through the ups and downs of starting a family, these women were my touchstone in so many ways. I absolutely attribute a healthy pregnancy, birth and postpartum to them. When our daughter was born at home on a beautiful fall full moon night, I was held in the highest reverence by these women as I journeyed through birth. I have never felt more powerful as I did surrounded by ViviAnne, Dr. KO and Laura during my birth. My husband was also supported so genuinely during the whole pregnancy and birth, it was his transformation as well and they honor that role! As many new parents do, we experienced challenges and things new to us that were supported and normalized in a way that made us feel confident that we could overcome and meet new challenges with confidence. We are grateful that the care for our daughter continues with Dr KO as her primary provider as well as well woman care for myself. We look forward to being a part of the Nest family for years to come!

I had my second child at the birth center almost a month ago with ViviAnne as my midwife. My husband was a little nervous about using a midwife which is why with our first child we had a hospital birth with a doctor. For our second child we decided to use a midwife and we are both so happy with that decision. Every appointment felt like we were meeting with a friend who truly cared about our wellbeing. There was never a time where I felt rushed to ask questions and it was always more of a conversation that felt organic. The actual birth was beautiful. I felt so incredibly supported that I never once felt like I couldn’t do a natural birth. I felt strong, empowered and loved. After having a stressful hospital birth I really didn’t realize how amazing a birth could be. ViviAnne and the other wonderful women at the Nest really went out of their way and I will forever be grateful! We want to have more kids now just so we can use the Nest again!
