I told the manager 4 weeks prior to leaving and when I stopped working, Tricia just made it seem like I left and always told me someone else would have to pay me. The 750 is that serious but due to their lack of professionalism, I am currently legally action for far more.

They treat me fine. We sign a contract and the work can be hard but you honour your contract. Good employers tend to treat good employees well and we have been treated very well.

this company is so full of it they make they force you to sign a contract and they tell you if you don't sign a contract you don't get paid. I also found out later that they kept almost 3 months of employees check stating they owe them for miss deliveries and customer complaint. Now I see why people quit so fast, they ONLY TRAIN YOU FOR A COUPLE DAYS AND THINK YOU GOT IT. Some routes are difficult to find some routes houses has no numbers or being covered up. Roads are bad and they want you to follow a paper to customer house. So you are reading at night, with the only light in ur car on looking out into drakness to see where you are going. I spend about 300. in gas for 5 days, I they only pay 525. a week for field assistant. ( My vehicle is a Dodge Caravan). Now just cause I quit I was told cause I didn't wait till my 30 days I won't get paid, for the job I did, cause the own BOB is fining me 500. I was told by others that carriers get paid 1 once a month .17 a paper, ok now if a customer complaint or u miss a delivery Day Break fines 8.00 to the carriers. WTH this is HIGH WAY ROBBERY. I was also that he keeps the tips that the customer gives to the carriers. This is something else.

This company DayBreak Delivery treats their employees terrible. When you deliver papers every day for 3 weeks straight (no days off) from 2am to 7am then have an issue with your car and end up having to quit. THEY KEEP ALL THE MONEY YOU WORKED FOR!!! So if you like working 7 days a week with no days off and take the risk of not getting paid....WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

As far as signing the contract they can only keep what you did for the current month not the previous month. I was presented with a last minute job opportunity that was not going to happen again so I took it. I informed them and said "Ok, we'll get your paycheck to you." I was told the same day I would not be getting my pay so keeping pay regardless of contract can be illegal.

Well you did sign a contract that says that you have to give 30 days notice or they can keep your pay. Read the fine print and then actually come to work
