My son and I went to the. Thursday night 7:30 intro to archery safety class and were able to shoot on the members only range after short but informative safety briefing. Just wanted to say it was a great time and all the people who were there to help us learn the basics were friendly and patient. Was a great time and will be back. Side note do not judge Skookym Archery by the guys that work in Great Northwest Archery separate business in building across from Skookum. I walked in there 1st and from my 1st impression not the friendliest even my 12 year old son made a comment about it.

We attended their introductory beginners course on a Thursday nights. It’s 1.5 hours long and the first half hour is the safety training. The staff is passionate and super friendly. Totally recommend to anyone, beginner or expert as their range is huge!

Great place!! My Granddaughter and I have been going for about 10 weeks now and love it there. We just joined as members. Everyone there is so nice and they are so helpful. The instructors are great and really care about helping you do your best. The place is real nice, a lot of fun and they are real picky about safety which is great. We are glad to be a part of the family there now and would recommend this club for anyone interested in archery. :-) Oh.... you don't have to have your own equipment to go and try it out. They have nice equipment you can use for just a 5 donation on Thursday nights. Come on out and try it you will love it.
