The employees here are kind and considerate even when someone is surrendering an animal. I went here to surrender a family members animal (which I don't really agree with surrendering animals in the first place. They aren't objects and deserve kind, loving homes.) and I was treated with kindness and understanding. I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail on forms and the like. If you want to adopt an animal this is a great place to do so as they're cared for and monitored closely for their behavior and information on shots etc.

I love the place because they give animals a second chance to find a home.

I have adopted all of my pets from this wonderful shelter! My two kitten adoptions were easy of course! Ivy, the runt of her litter, is 18 now and Bandit is now a silly lil 4 year old guy with pica (so I have an obsession with hiding plastic bags and rubber bands even when at family or friends houses ) My girl, Josie, is the best representation of this shelter's love and care for animals. I saw her on their website and came just for her. A 4 year old tabby found on the streets, with the most beautiful face. When I met her I noticed sneezing and nasal discharge. When I brought this up to staff they immediately told me she wasn't up for adoption until they could get her healthy. After 1 month, and the many calls from me to check up on her, she was able to come home with us! Now 8 years old she is (and always has been) the most mothering cat! She comes running everytime my son cries! And so vocal when it's approaching feeding times! When it's time to adopt again, I'll be coming here!

We have visited many times. My girl scout troop has donated and gotten an awesome behind the scenes tour. Now we have a great new family member!
