Food, decor and ambiance were all great! Celebrated a birthday dinner, Cleo was our server and he was fantastic! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu (some stuff really isn't italian), a little pricey, the spicy oil on bread is the best! As a starter got the guac spread and enjoyed both the lobster pasta and funghi pasta. Wine choices were on par! I would have easily given 5 stars, but the hostess may have been the most rude, entitled individual I have ever come across. Her greeting wasn't welcoming, it came off as we should feel lucky to be in her graces and have the opportunity to enjoy a meal at their restaurant. BEWARE of the one with dark hair, covered with tattoos on her wrists & hands! This was during COVID, so I made a reservation over a month in advance- they offer both restaurant and patio seating- I requested restaurant to be back of house so we wouldn't be by the front glass doors feeling the cold air when the servers were tending to the patio every time the external door opened. The hostess indicated we were lucky to have a reservation, because they turn anyone without one away...then sat us on a small 2-top table closest to the external glass door. I politely referred to my request from the reservation and requested a different table- numerous tables were vacant at the time and she gave me a rude, snarky comment- \this is your table and everything else is taken...you're welcome to sit at the bar for the next few hours and maybe i'll be able to find you a different table if one opens up before we close!\ At that point, I was ready to leave the restaurant and file a complaint- but not wanting to ruin the birthday evening, we sat, wore our coats through dinner and Cleo came to the rescue to turn the night around. Not sure we'll be back after this experience, but definitely surprised by our experience in an environment where restaurants (I would think) would be happy and inviting of guests...

superb meal from start to finish, with great food, pacing and service. a great meal for restaurant week. this is a new place for me. it was terrific with quality interesting food. great server also.
