This place is a gem that we accidentally found while walking nearby. This is our go-to restaurant now. The prices are decent. We highly recommend lamb chops and crepes.

Carpathian food brought to you by an amazing Chef!!! At Danubius i had the best Romanian food in US, since i arrived here in 2007. I highly recommend it as i had quite great experiences every time i visited the place. If you are looking to just eat and don't like loud music this is the spot to hit. Great staff working including the owners wich always are taking care of the customers, very polite and with a great sense of humor. The "papanasi" desert it's a must try!!!!
The biggest surprise of the month! I went there with a big party, everybody ate different. Every single appetizer, soup, entree and desert was absolutely delicious! Very nice waiters and waitresses! New restaurant with a bright future if they can keep up the quality of the food! Go there enjoy, you will love it!
As a New Yorker who was born and raised in Queens with Romanian parents, going in and out of different Romanian restaurants that opened and closed throughout the past 20 years, this is by far the best Romanian/Moldovan restaurant I've had the pleasure of eating. Growing up, going to a Romanian restaurant meant to me I should be prepared to have something to eat at home since the food was acceptable most times. The food at Danubius delicious, generously portioned, and nicely presented. Anybody who is curious about Romanian/Moldovan food should definitely come here for not only and authentic experience but an affordable one as well.
Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people eat together!!! This is truly the greatest Romanian food in NYC/America!
Absolutely great food, the schnitzel was a little over cooked but edible. Had it during restaurant week, otherwise will return again!

Super nice people, and the food was great. The meat was very well seasoned and tasted delicious. The Moldavian Pie was fantastic. Will definitely go back.
