Best beach for a relaxing day of sun bathing. The breeze is soooooo soothing and the sound of those waves....heavenly! A warning that the water is quite choppy and those waves will slap you...the water also has lots of algae pieces. Tide comes in early.

Fort Tilden is a place of beauty. Not too crowded. Clothing optional but no body shaming here. Everyone just having a good time, social distancing in groups and enjoying their choice of fun. Waves are great for body surfing and Jacob Riis is a 15 minute walk for food and restrooms. The perfect antidote to life’s current anxiety. N.B.: the parking lot is currently closed so you’ll have to walk from the Riis parking lot through the entrance with the Ben and Jerry’s
Breezy Point next to Fort Tilden, a beach that will take your breath away. Enjoy it the most at dawn
Very nice..people were friendly and distant..food court was closed. Makes you feel free to be in your birthday suit like some other beach goers.
Nice spot to bird watch, and explore the bunkers.
