They only do take out during COVID-19, so we ordered to go and brought back to hotel (Sheraton) to eat. We ordered the 跳水全鱼 \Diving Fish\ which has the green Sichuan peppercorn flavor, with tender slices of fish on top of soft tofu, very nice. Also had the 口味牛蛙 \Tasty Frog\ which has a combined flavor of hot & spicy, plus pickled veg, very tasty. Fu Qi Fei Pian is okay. The free pickled cabbage with chili oil was a nice surprise to me.

Food is great! I love it so so much. The reason I didn't give five star is because they did not accept card.

Firstly, It's not spicy at all. I got the whole fish w. Family style that only had a couple slices of veggies. It's soaked in hot oil but not spicy at all. A piece of the fish was disturbingly slimy. The peppercorns flavor is non-existent either. Also got the mapo tofu, instead of minced meat they replaced it with minced garlic, a little lacking. The corn starch used to thicken the sauce was coagulated into lumps separated from the tofu and sauce. The tofu itself was too firm. I felt the edges of the tofu when I put the cube in my mouth. Strange feeling. Sichuan food that's not spicy or numbing is a huge disappointment. I mean that's their specialty. That's the reason people go. The person who made these 2 dishes has no business being in the kitchen. For the price they charge I expected something decent but apparently they don't charge extra for decency, they charge more to make up for the lack of customer flow to keep from going under. Some pepper flakes on a slice of pizza has more kick to it than this. Utter disappointment. I was so looking forward to the Sichuan mala flavor.
