Loved this place, it was the first time coming here and I will def come again. The waiter talked very fast but I was able to get through to what I wanted. The General Tsao chocked was to die for!! Not like the gross dough filled ones that aren't authentic in take outs. The sizzling beef was sooooo good! A must try when you go there. It's not on the menu so you have to ask them to make it and they will accommodate it which was a nice touch to this restaurant. Very very clean as well the waiters kept constantly spraying their hands and outfits with alcohol and they implemented the 6 ft distance very well. Great place ️

This is my family’s favorite dim sum place. We have been coming here since it first opened. The food is delicious and satisfies our craving for dim sum. The staff are always on top of their game and willing to go above and beyond their call of duty. I always feel welcomed here. I also like how this place is a little further up and not in downtown Flushing. Although they have a valet parking lot, it is not that hard to found parking on the street.

New Lake Pavilion is one of my auntie’s favorite dim sum place in Flushing. The decor here is super exaggerated and it is also a perfect place for Chinese holding their wedding ceremony. They served dim sum every day before 3pm and Cantonese cuisines all day. They had a wide variety of dim sum served by cart and most of their dim sum were delicious and authentic. Our favorites were steamed spare ribs and salted egg custard buns. The ribs were well cooked, chewy and tasty flavored with braised taro. The salted egg custard buns were a must try and super addictive. Their service was also authentic - super rude and reluctant but kind. They have their parking lot but it was always crowded and impossible to find a place.
Great Dim Sum place with authentic old school Chinese dishes. Pretty delicious. This place is made for very very big parties, fast delivery of food. Very tasty dishes though some can be very simple. This is place is not intimate or cozy and has its own feel really. It also isn't the cleanest and often many dishes are chipped. But really all this place cares about is doing delicious food for the most amount of people which accomplishes it job wonderfully.
