Terrible DAMAGES on Canada Goose jacket! I sent my carefully-wore Canada Goose Parka to this place for dry cleaning, when I got it back home, I found SIGNIFICANT DAMAGES on both cuffs, seemingly mangled by machine. Pictures as attached. I tried to call this place, but they never picked up the phone but RIDICULOUSLY sent me a text msg to ask what the matter was!!! The message screenshots as attached. After I sent the damage pictures to them, they sent me a picture of a barely read store sign, claiming that they are not responsible for any issue once stuffs physically out of the store. I queried why they didn't inform me the damages at the first place when I picked it up and why ignored responsibilities they are supposed to take as a business, they responded as “the damaged area caused by friction with the skin.” STUNNING. I also checked some historical reviews, seems like the store usually sends stuffs they collect to somewhere else for dry cleaning. Maybe it’s the place where they send stuffs damaged my Canada Goose jacket, but the point here is that this Nicole’s Cleaners EITHER never checked the stuffs sent back OR intentionally concealed the damage in order to avoid responsibility. That was the first time and of course the last time I used their service. I admitted I made a huge wrong decision to step into this place. I was deceived by their fake four star rating, I hope my experience can be helpful for some of you who looking for dry clean service. I would rate this place ZERO if I could. I’m waiting to see THE Nicole’s Cleaners going out of business soon.
By far the best cleaners in Astoria. Great quality and terrific prices. You never have to worry leaving your clothes here. And the entire staff is friendly! Bonus: their system is computerized and they text you when your clothes are ready for pickup!
It's great to see that this place have re-opened already. Jairo, the store manager is the best, always trying to accommodate to better serve our dry cleaning, laundry and alterations needs. They are also an \Organic\ dry cleaners. All in all, The best cleaners in the area.
If you’re looking for a same-day job, this is not the place for you - work is done off-site. That being said, the work here is impeccable. I have never had a problem with their work, and the owner is very nice and helpful! Every shirt on which I’ve spilled oil or some other difficult liquid came back good as new, and a silk tie with serious stains came back in pristine condition! I really can not recommend Nicole’s Cleaners enough.
