Been with RCN for over 12 years, so please value my opinion. Firstly, RCN'S internet/cable service is horrible. Service has always been going out, nowadays more than ever. A technician is only available if you block out an \ENTIRE\ day to be home. They will overcharge your account consistently, so \BE AWARE\ and continue to check your bill. RCN is a cheap solution that will only guarantee problems in your future!

This company is the worst. The rep was willing to help but the manager said no approval. When I put up with months of the internet service going down all the time, when the remote learning first started but I hung in with you guys. You made me and my kid miss days of school and work and now that the bill is just going up and up and it makes no sense.

I had RCN cable TV and internet in Northern Queens for about 10 years, essentially trouble free. I moved from the area and am now experiencing more trouble with provider in 6 months than I did with RCN in ten years. What a great company, great service, reasonable rates.

This is a company that “accidentally” switches off your connection and charge you a 150 “re-connection” fee or will cut you off for good. Avoid this scammy (if not that then hopelessly disorganized) service provider. Much better services with Verizon or Spectrum.

They advertise and promise you 3 months FREE for new customers, but never actually give you nothing for free. They keep on charging. Spent 2 days on the phone with them and no one knows how to resolve this. Still waiting for the manager to call me. Big Scam.
