I've been looking for low cost bonsai pots for a while and I'm always trying new places. I would like to give this place a higher rating. However, I can't because of the quality of the pot received. It's really disappointing. I ordered the black/ blue rectangle pot. They called a few days later and said they were out of stock but they had a flat black lotus shaped pot. Agreeing to this exchange because I still needed a pot and they seemed like decent quality based on the picture of the other pot. I was excited when the pot arrived. The problem is, the drip tray is horribly painted and only half of it is painted on one side. And only 3/4 is painted on the other 3 sides. It would be a eyes sore if I were to display a nice bonsai tree in this pot. I may now have to research how to paint pottery with a plant safe paint. Idk. I know I really need a good bonsai store in the states.

My son received a gift card for his birthday, we were hesitant about visiting due to COVID, however after reviewing the safety protocols Northland Gardens put into place as well as calling on the phone, we visited this week. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful, kind, and went above and beyond in helping my son choose a bonsai. Both gentlemen took over an hour talking to my young son about caring for his plant and even gave a history lesson into the origin of his newfound tree. My wife and I left in tears, not only was this business extremely safe (social distancing, masks, sanitizing, ect), but it was also the best Birthday gift my son could have received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to returning very soon!

Love this place! Very beautiful plants/trees, ponds, etc. They have a lot of knowledge about all of their plants, and everything you’ll need to help your plant thrive! We were there today (memorial day), they were extremely busy and the gentleman who was working did a great job, took the time to ask each and every person if they needed help and gave them his time and effort to help and answer their questions. Also, forgot our masks and they had masks to give out (great quality), also very clean about everything!
