Do Not Use Quicken Loans! Unlicensed personnel soliciting mortgages. Complete BS. I requested info for a refinance of our second home, and immediately received about 12 phone calls and text messages. Finally, after I was able to call to speak to someone on my time, I was greeted by the most aggressive, shoddy, poorly scripted, hard core used car sales person pitch I have ever encountered. Then, after a barrage of questions about everything EXCEPT what I was inquiring about, the representative informs me they are not licensed in my state! WTH! I just wasted 15 minutes with their crazy high pressure interrogation technique, and not even licensed to answer the darned phone? I then asked to speak to a licensed mortgage professional, who can answer MY questions and the jerk hung up on me. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. Wow, what a sham! BEWARE OF THIS GROUP, FOLKS. Plenty of professional, PROPERLY LICENSED, mortgage professionals out there. Find another company.

I am impressed at what Dan Gilbert is doing to revive downtown Detroit. A friend game us a tour of the quicken loans building. I think they have a great work culture and great ideas on how to make a work place a great place to work in. This building is really nice, along with the indoor waterfall. Downtown Detroit is starting to look good again :-)

Just called quicken to see if they could help me. Before I could do anything, they needed my SSN to pull credit, I asked if I was on a recorded line. Katlin Wagner said yes you are. I asked if we could please pause while I tell you it. She said no they cant do that. That's when she got annoyed with me. I understand & requested an electronic application. She then got an attitude with me when I asked if the electronic application just does the credit check virtually & only she would see it. She said no, once again. I simply tried to state (while getting cut off) that I'm uncomfortable doing that. She said well that's all we can do. I then said thank you for the call & hung up. I don't understand how they do not have any safety measures in place for their potential clients. Most certainty I cant be the only person uncomfortable having my SSN \out in the open\. Her sass & attitude gave me 0 confidence that my information was SAFE. Shame on you Quicken Loans & Katlin Wagner for your poor customer service.
