We loved our stay here! The room was really cute and comfortable with a private patio area. It has a great vibe! Our stay was quiet and peaceful. I wish we had been able to stay longer to really take advantage of everything offered. The owner was so nice and went above and beyond for me when I accidentally left a personal item behind. We will be back for sure!

Quiet Mind is truly one of my favorite places in the world. The artwork, the views, the amazing rooms.. It doesn't get any better than this! The owners are angels and are so kind and welcoming. I feel very grateful to live close by and be able to come here to relax and unwind.

Great spot ! I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay here and look forward to returning again. It's a nice 15 or so minute drive from the main part of Julian (away from the crowds), and the view was spectacular! The street noise is not too bad, ceiling fan helped drown out some of the street buzz. Bedding was very comfortable, and the food was good despite not being prepared on the spot. Hot tub is perfectly situated to provide an excellent view of the lake and mountainside. Very nice clean and professional services by the concierge.

Super disappointed. I wish I could leave a good review on this place, but we never got to stay here. I booked this place for my birthday almost a month in advance. Three days before my trip I get a call saying my stay had been canceled due to construction. The person on the phone said that they had been trying to reach me for awhile, but my coworker booked the same retreat for the following weekend around the same time the hotel said they were trying to reach me. I had to be the one to tell her that her stay might have been canceled as well (which it was) So I don’t quite understand why they were still allowing people to book the rooms if they knew they had construction going on... The employee on the phone was super kind, but the last minute cancellation was a huge hassle and not very professional.

This place is so quaint and quiet. A great place to go and relax and enjoy the views. My husband and I went for our birthday weekend, and there was quite a bit of snow. Although my husband slipped on the ice on our way to the hot tub and dislocated his knee on the first night, and we never got to taste the food that sounded so great, we still needed a getaway. If I had one recommendation to the Quiet Mind staff, it would be to shovel the frequently used walkways and maybe some salt during the snowy weather so others don't do the same.

My boyfriend and I went here for the weekend and it was the perfect relaxing getaway. Jenny was very nice and accommodating which made our trip that much more enjoyable. We had a view of the lake and mountains and Julian was only 10 minutes away. We are definitely going to come back again!

Great weekend escape! Self service and a super easy experience. Jenny was attentive and helpful. Room was very comfortable and the lake view was stunning. Loved the library and meditation room. And the massage was great.

This is an oasis close enough to home if you live in San Diego, but which still feels like another country. The place is gorgeously decorated with Tibetan Buddhas and other art, and the entire place is an adventure to explore. I recommend having tea while reading one of the thousands of books on spirituality in the library, overlooking the lake. I can't wait until it can open back up to offer retreats, but in the meantime, you can create your own retreat. NOTE: I highly recommend booking a room in the older part of the lodge because the newer wing is quite noisy with thin walls.
