Drop off procedure for spay and neuter program is highly inconsistent during this pandemic. I am grateful for them making it possible to spay and neuter a whole colony of cats. The surgery performed is minimally invasive compared to any vet clinic I've been to. I have brought 4 cats each trip. Trip #1 & #2 they brought clipboard with paperwork to fill out to your car and they everyone stood in line outside in the freezing cold. Trips #3 & #4 I had to catch someone to get paperwork then they took your phone number and called you to come in. Trip #5 fill out paperwork inside and stand in line in the cold waiting to go in. Trip # 6 as soon as I pull up they come to your car and say only 2 people allowed in lobby you can come in when it's your turn. They then came back to the car and told me I could go in 25 minutes later. I honestly don't care how they go about it. Whatever is easier for them is fine. But a solid plan with consistency would be nice. I'm happy to stand in line in the cold for what they offer. They're the most kind and personable people. I greatly appreciate the way they do their spay and neuter surgery and the whole program offered. The incision is always small and closed very well with no need to remove stitches. The vet there does amazing work. Other cats I have spayed at the vet have a long incision and need stitches removed in 10 days which always irritates the animal and they end up chewing on their stitches. When they come home from the humane society they are also much more recovered from the anesthesia compared to taking them to a any vets office. I think that has to do with them making sure the cat is feed before it goes home which is something most vets don't bother with when spaying or neutering as well.

I adopted the perfect kitten from here! The facility was very clean and open, even with a few office cats roaming around. Lori was extremely helpful, thank you so much for helping us find little Finn (Doug)!
