I’ve lived here for over a year now and really like it. Other apartments I’ve lived in just felt like a couple of boxes put together. They didn’t feel like a home. The unit I’m renting at Bexley at Brier Creek has much more of a “home” feel. Good amount of natural light, tile bathroom floors and entry, decent amount of kitchen cabinet space (but not a ton of cabinet space - might have to get creative if you have a lot of kitchenware), clean facilities, package area for deliveries, nice pool and workout area, inviting outdoor commons area with 2 TVs, grills, tables, and a fireplace. Can’t beat the location. Everything I need is pretty much a mile or less away. Maintenance and office staff have always been helpful and courteous. I really like the fenced in area for my dog and the attached garage (both extras, but both worth it). Overall, I think it’s a really good place to live. Only downside I can think of is the walls are a little thin, so the heat/AC runs a lot during really cold/hot days. And if your neighbor happens to be a cabinet-slammer like mine, you’re going to hear it.

When it rains, it pours underneath my floors Had no issues for two years but do NOT sign a lease! Water comes into my apartment every time it rains. Staff told me there are issues with the foundation of the building. The maintenance staff and carpet cleaners are the real MVPs because they have come and dug trenches in the cold rain and cleaned the carpet to try and fix the problem. The leasing office told me nothing can be done, and they are not willing to work with me since I have health issues and had to make other living arrangements. Meanwhile my furniture is being ruined in the process. This is my third time requesting a solution and not a “patch up job.” I cannot image the mold, mildew and who knows what else that is growing under my floors. I was told last week that I they would be in touch with me and to check with my renters insurance company. They are not going to cover the damages. Keep in mind, this was the insurance company they recommended when I moved in. I am still waiting on a response from the leasing office and my floors are wet again for the fourth time. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress I have had to deal with. I was willing to work with them and find a common ground, but it was the blanket “we cannot do anything, but you are still expected to pay your full rent on time” that really left a bad impression for me. Please keep your family safe and find another home.

Not Worth The Cost To Rent While this complex is conveniently located in the Brier Creek area, it is not worth the higher rent expense. The staff is constantly changing and never leaves notes for issues you report. Maintenance requests are band aid fixed until you either reach out several times or settle for the patch. The landscaping is poorly kept, and amenities are often unavailable. The one redeeming quality is most of the other residents are very friendly.

Recently moved here from Texas. First time living in an apartment in over 40 yrs. This is an awesome apartment community. I love my apartment, it is in a primo location within the complex.I have met many of the residents and consider them new friends. Maintenance staff are very friendly and quick to respond.

Would you like to become an entomologist, or a person who studies bugs? Well then we've found the perfect apartment complex for you. During our time at Bexley Brier Creek, we learned about a new (to us) type of spider called the common hentz jumper because we found it in our living room, and we had to look it up because it looks, surprisingly, like a scorpion. We've also found a number of other tiny critters, including silverfish, roaches, and ants. The best part about all of this is that we were only there short term and did not cook a single dish in the place. We also had a very leaky shower head which it took no less than five maintenance requests for Bexley to fix. We ended up with quite a stack of forms notifying us that they'd been in the apartment. The beautiful, landscaped hillside outside of our balcony was peppered with abandoned shopping carts from a number of local stores. There were about four until some college kids underneath us got drunk and removed them on a dare, one tumbling down the hill in the process. This apartment complex was right next to a bus stop and within great walkable distance of shops and restaurants, but I just don't think that it made up for the rest of it.
