Had an old lamp sitting on our family’s piano for 60 years which recently fell and broke. I was expecting to leave it there but he fixed it right on the spot and re-wired it as well. He did the majority of the work on a crate on the sidewalk while chatting in front of the store. It felt like I was a child watching my dad fixing something on his workbench. He is a very nice gentleman, very good at what he does and I certainly recommend supporting this valuable small business.

A gem in Raleigh! I am so happy to have found Craig's Lamp & Shade shop. Craig was very knowledgeable and a real delight to chat with while he found me two beautiful silk shades, harps and some finials for other lamps. His shop is well stocked with shades and lamps from his custom made lamps to stock, even antique chandeliers and sconces. Thanks Craig. I'll be back!

Sam is so nice! Plus he has an excellent selection of lampshades. I bought one that's American made - an added bonus. Great prices too!

Came in to buy a hard to find lamp socket with the threaded shell ring for an upright lamp. This is the only guy that had it in North Raleigh. Great little store with tons of lamp shades. Sells parts and repairs lamps. For part sales, make sure you know your wire colors and difference between neutral and hot and that you connect it properly as not to injure yourself or somebody else with improper wiring. Will come back here again!
