Not any fancy place but good value for money. Food takes a bit longer to appear but it’s good enough. They can work on freshness of items a bit and customer service has suffered a lot during pandemic but it’s convenient price and comfortable location. Should try.

I must have lived in India in a previous life because the Biryani from Dharani Express is my soul food. I've tried biryani dishes from other places in Raleigh and Cary, and Dharani is hands-down the most flavorful. I order it mild and it still has a kick to it.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had from many cities, specifically the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan. It’s hard to find a well reviewed Indian restaurant around Raleigh so if you are not sure where to try for Indian food based on reviews, I suggest here. Just tried it and have already been back a second time, and they are using masks and Covid safe! The tikka masala has the best flavor and is very creamy, unlike a lot of tomato tasting bases that a lot of tikka masala seem to taste like.

I ordered this for dinner last night via GrubHub. The food is not terrible, but it really depends on your gastronomic tolerance. For me, the food was too oily and wouldn’t bode well for my stomach. Wayyyyy more oil than I am used to. However, the food did deliver hot and fresh. It can be good to some, but for me it wasn’t too good. I will say it’s better than most Indian places in the triangle.

My wife is Indian and we just visited from DC. We know Indian food and this place is spot on! I had some of the Indo Chinese items and it was among the best I've had. The service was also impeccable... Highly recommend!
