DMV has really long lines here, I was in and out because I got there before they opened and I was already near the front of the line...I asked questions and didn’t get answers or was treated like they didn’t hear me. They told everyone in line that their computers were messing up today...when customers were trying to complete their transactions...they said multiple times to some people that they can’t do their transactions due to the computers not working and told everyone it’s a statewide issue and it’s happening at all DMVs today. Given they just opened and don’t know that it’s an issue elsewhere today...I went to the holly springs DMV and they did not have these issues and I was in and out quickly! It’s always something every time I go to this DMV. Some of the employees are nice but most act like they do not have the time of day to deal with anything. I hope this helps pinpoint their main issues and can help the owner resolve them.

Fast, friendly, and accommodating. I was taking the opportunity to teach my 3y/o daughter how to queue up and failing. The civil servant assisting me was friendly & patient as I struggled to juggle documents, payments, and sanity as my daughter objectively proved to me that magic is real by apparating around the room and charming us all senseless. Even so, my super civil servant went above and beyond, getting me everything I need to return to the streets as yet another legal nameless driver in the sea of nameless drivers.

I moved to NC last year so this is my first year going through the DMV system. Even with COVID measures in place its very easy to navigate. It seems that this division of DMV is run by an independent contractor. The facilities are clean and well lit. The line moved quickly and the staff inside was courteous and efficient.

In and out quickly. If you’ve got your papers in order, they will get the job done! Remember you’ll need 5 cash for the notary fee on a title application.

Once inside and being helped, they were very efficient, polite, and completed my transaction in 30 seconds. However, waiting 30 minutes to turn in my license plate seemed pretty inefficient.

They have a serious problem between policy and action. Their email service tells you they will respond within 7 business days, try 21. When they do respond, the CSR tells you that you cannot renew online you need to go into one of the DMV's. They also don't answer the whole question, only 1/16th of the question. When you get to the DMV they are closed open only to appointment. When you log onto their website for an appointment they are only for DL's, first time licences, etc., not tags. So round and round we go.

The people who work here are actually nice and don't hate their lives. Very quick even with a line. No attitudes from the employees. Hard to believe it's government run.
