I have been riding for 3 years now but I can say that everyone there is so kind and caring and there for you if you or your child are interested in doing horseback I would recommend coming here for these reasons. 1. The horses are trained supper well they are so loving never bite, buck, kick. 2. The trainers are so nice and supportive and will help you with anything you need. 3. The people that go there and are more experienced and the owners and everyone working there are so nice and helpful 4. It will be a time you never forget so come here

My daughter has been taking lessons there for 6 years and we have boarded our pony there for 3 years. This is a wonderful facility where I feel confident my daughter and pony are well loved and cared for. They have lessons for all different level riders, kids and adults, with a variety of school horses to choose from. Can't recommend it enough!!

I have been riding at Southern Oak Equestrian Center for the last 9 years, but been in the horse industry my entire life. I can honestly say I have never been to a farm where they care so deeply about the horses and the clients. All the horses' (boarders and lesson) health is expertly managed. There is something about this farm I can't put my finger on but it has the most family friendly atmosphere (while still being competitive) that I have ever experienced. Being at Southern Oak is like therapy. I can't think of another farm in the area that even remotely compares.

Wonderful instructors that have improved my riding skills over the years. I Have improved as an equestrian and a person, with their active 4-H group. Southern Oaks is a friendly community and a great barn run by the Mattis family.
