The view from Wye Hill is a special perspective and classic shot of downtown - absolutely don't miss it. And of course, if a train passes you definitely wont miss that, its part of the experience! To me, Wye Hill is more of a setting-destination than food-destination and I much prefer a cold beer, good friend, and edge seat for pensive conversation than choosing this spot for a full meal. Food flavors and menu options are unique, nice spot for brunch or lunch. I have to say I've never been totally blown away by the food (but burger was excellent), and I have had 2-3 experiences where I felt it was over-priced for the final product (I feel disgustingly American saying that, \u003einsert eye roll\u003c). However, I do return so that should say something alone! Its a convenient spot to meet without too much stress for parking and again, the view. Especially at sunset! And for 2021, I'm super excited for Wye Hill's upcoming \partnership\ with Heights House (ex-Montfort Hall)

Came here for the first time Feb 13 for an early Valentine’s date with my wife. Absolutely amazing service! Food and drinks were great and our waiter was one of the best we’ve ever had.

We went as a group of 8 for Sunday brunch. We had the easiest time making a reservation and we even had to push it back a little the day of and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing! Between all of us we basically had everything on the brunch menu. One of the best features for this restaurant is the view on the patio of Raleigh. We went on an extremely cold day, but still wanted to enjoy the view so we sat on the patio. They have plastic covering and heaters outside which was amazing. We were never cold and still got to enjoy the beautiful view! The pricing for the food is good for what you get. They have a great mimosa bottle special for brunch. Overall, we will definitely be going back for ladies brunch!
