When I was sold my new siding, I was told my existing boards were not good and needed to be replaced. When the siders came to do the siding in May 2017, they told me my existing boards were in great shape. The installation was wonderful and all was good until Jan 2019 when I had a piece on the front of my house partially disconnect and flapping in the wind. My Exteriors didn't call back after multiple attempts. I duct taped the piece so it wouldn't break during the polar vortex and subsequent storms. In March, I finally talked to someone who said they don't work in the winter, though their message didn't indicate that, and someone would be in touch to get the siding fixed as soon as it was warm enough. It is now May 28, 2019, I have made a few more calls with no response, no one has called me, and I still have duct tape on the front of my house.
I would highly recommend My Exteriors! Their staff is knowledge and genuine. I consulted with multiple companies door my project and they were by far the most personable. I felt like they were trustworthy, which is huge when you're investing into your house! Choose them for all of your exterior needs!!
Owner of this company Rick Mandery ( NOW RUNNING OTHER COMPANY NAME Home Garage Floor Inc. IN RAMSEY MN )never paid subcontractor for their work. Keep dragging times. Its been a year now since the work is done has not been paid for the job subcontractor did. Saying he has no money to pay. At the end of the day he said the company is now closed. i see other customers complaining about not getting service done on My exteriors INC google review. SUBCONTRACTOR NEVER GOT PAID for year. anyone need more detail feel free to contact me He gets money from the insurance company, taking the money without paying the subs.
Everything started on a positive note regarding repairs from June 2017 storm damages, BUT after some property damages took place this company has not been cooperative. The roofers tossed shingles off the roof causing damages to the new siding they just replaced, damaged a grill handle and scratched a vintage bike. The roofers were seen taken photos of the damages. I reported this to the person handling my claim (person A), who said they reported it (person B) but no one ever got back to me. I then sent photos (to person C who picked up a check from me) who also informed me that he forwarded the photos to person D (the owner). I left messages with customer service, I sent text messages asking for information regarding the damages only to be told: yes your messages have been passed along. They questioned me on why the garage doors were not finished? As it turned out the doors did not get ordered and then the wrong ones came in and I asked about the window repair and they said no windows are ordered. The doors got replaced (he was a nice guy) but not the window. I was then called for another payment and told to keep the money for the window repairs but pay the final invoice. It's now August (2018) AND no one has even bothered to contact me regarding the issues but yet they had the gull to call me wanting their money to close the file - Really??!! You want final payment from me but wont even discuss damages to my property? You have ignored these concerns, received your dam money and now I'm leaving you with a bad review and I will not recommend your company.
