A super authentic Japanese convenience store, and an excellent offshoot of Tawara, next-door's authentic Japanese restaurant. They've got imported Japanese snacks of all shapes and sizes, school/office supplies that are as adorable as they are functional, and prepared food that always makes me ask "has anything that Tawara made ever really been bad?"

went here for the first time today with my boyfriend and had an amazing experience! the staff was extremely friendly and polite. we had a lovely conversation with the employee while we shopped. the variety of foods and products was super impressive given that the store is of smaller size. we bought a ton of snacks and drinks, and also tried some of the pre-made meals they had available which were also delicious. we will definitely be returning very soon!!

Real Japanese owned “Conveni” the owners are so nice and the store is very very clean! They have a mix of Japanese grocery staples and also some really cool bento dishes. They even had matcha “soft cream” and even a stationary section. The bread might be the highlight for me personally though. Will be coming back with my family, this is truly a rare blessing for us to enjoy this quality food in NJ.

Wow! Towara Mart offers delicious prepared food, Japanese bakery items (made on site), and an array of authentic products that are staples in Japan but difficult (impossible) to find in the US. The shelves at Towara Mart are lined with labels that provide really helpful descriptions of products and do so in English! Store is clean. Staff is friendly. Selection is unusually good. Prices are fair. Definitely recommend

Very cute Japanese gift shop/mini mart. They had lots of fresh food and Japanese ingredients, as well as tons of fun gifts, plusses, mats, beauty products, etc. Highly recommended.
