This Place is Awesome! Just had my daughter's 8th Birthday there with all our friends and family. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks. It was great! And everyone had such a great time! Our host (Tara) was excellent! She was helpful and great with the kids! My daughter said it was her Best Birthday ever! My other kids are already asking to have there next birthdays there! Which we will! Also I'm recommending it to all my children's sports teams as end of the year party's. Great place to have winter birthdays! Thanks again Tara! See you soon!!

What a great place! Swimstitute teaches young children and even adults who don't know how to swim. They also offer individual lessons and detailed instruction for young swimmers on swim teams or clubs. Great place for lap swimmers as well. Owner is great and runs a fantastic business. Highly recommend!

I would give zero stars if I could. This place has got to be the worst place in all of the greater Sacramento area to take children to learn to swim. I purchased 15 lessons from this awful place, and explained in great detail that my daughter had no swimming skills and a fear of water. The brilliant folks who work here paired my daughter with an impatient teenager who only works with accomplished swimmers looking to improve their technique. During my daughter's first lesson, her instructor became irritated with my daughter's lack of skill and proceeded to push my child under water and hold her there until my daughter ran out of air and swallowed and breathed in water. The instructor repeated this several times. When my daughter told me what happened I complained and demanded a refund. My refund was denied and the man laughed off my complaints and told me he would have done the same thing the instructor did...I guess because new swimmers are frustrating?! I threatened legal action and never received as much as an apology from the manager. Horrifically unprofessional and psychopathically cavalier in regard to safety. I would strongly recommend that no one ever consider bringing a child here. Also, the facilities are in disrepair and quite dirty. For the money, there are several higher quality facilities available with friendly, qualified instructors.

Water is the perfect temperature, staff is friendly and helpful, plenty of pool tools to use if you don't bring your own.
