Located on the corner of Malachite and Foothill blvd, in the same shopping center as Autozone, Mezzaterranean is a family owned restaurant specializing in Lebanese food. I recently had their beef kabob plate, and it was so good, I was left speechless. Speechless, not because i didn't have the words. Speechless because, I was too busy eating. The chunky cubes of beef were perfectly cooked. Every piece was soft, tender, and lean (no fat whatsoever). Combined with the flavorful rice, hummus, and salad, the beef kabob platter was nearly a perfect meal. The next dish I want to try will be the Shawarma Fries. Check this place out. They opened in 2014 and have a sister location in West Covina.

Outstanding location for quality mediterranean food. I wish there were more places like this around town. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. This place has a good feel to it.
One of my preferred locations for quality Mediterranean food. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded.
Mezzaterranean never disappoints! Always flavorful, appealing, and satisfying. Their rice and chicken kabobs are so good! They catered my son's birthday party, the food was a hit with adults and kids! Highly recommend and of course, their food is healthy.
I came here to try the shawarma, ordered both chicken and beef shawarma wraps, they were both okay. However, if ur looking for a traditional shawarma sandwich, then this definatly is not the place. They add some type of spicy marinare to the beef/chicken shawarma that throws it off in my opinion. While the tahini/hummus was good, i felt the shawarma felt short of any shawarma ive ever tried. That being said I would of granted a 4/5 stars. However, the real reason im giving this place a 3 instead of 4 however, is the way I saw the cook yelling at the cashier up front, very unprofessional.
