Wonderful resort. Stayed in a ocean facing room. The building itself you can tell is a bit older but has been remodeled. Parking is a bit far from the ocean front wing, but it’s an enjoyable walk. Hot tubs are currently not available.

Great 3 day getaway. The food was excellent in all 3 of the restaurants we went to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The views of the ocean from our room was spectacular. Overall it was a great trip, we will be back.

To be clear, this is not a review about the resort grounds. I was looking to book this place for a birthday weekend with my husband, in which the resort was offering a stay 3 nights and get the 3rd night free promotion. The pricing on the website for the one bedroom hotel suite, showed a reduced rate from 995 to 663 per night excluding taxes and fees. Great right? Get a 3 night stay at this beautiful resort for a reduced rate per night and the 3rd night free! Awesome. Not the case... when you Go to check out, it shows a balance of 2200... I would have anticipated 1500 /- considering the reduced rate, 3rd night free, and taxes and fees. I called the hotel to find out that the 663 per night rate is the average for the 3 nights, which is based on two nights at 995 (995 x 2 nights/3 nights 663)... Just wanted to let anyone know who may be looking to book at this resort as the website is COMPLETELY misleading and they need to really quit playing with people's minds.. Just put the rate at 995 and apply the coupon code for the 3rd night free. It's simple... I am pretty sure the lady who took my call, this was not her first call concerning the matter as she was really rude and pretty much hung up in my face when I wasn't done speaking. Do better Terreana..

Very nice experience here my kids loved this place! So many things to see. Loved the forest area with the butterflies. Make sure to take snacks and drinks for the kids. Food at the cafe was pretty good. Tried the clam chowder in the bread bowl! Must try. We spend about 4-5 hrs at the museum. Tried the ice skating rink, it was pretty fun kids were super exhausted after.. a plus! Lol everyone seemed pretty nice and informative. My daughter had lost her very nice backpack with money inside and a Good Samaritan returned it to the lost and found. Glad there is very good people out there. She was pretty worried since she has her birthday money in there and we were on vacation from Malibu, CA. But she was definitely glad she was able to get it back.

This property/landscaping is absolutely spectacular. Stunning view from any location. Perfect for rest and relaxation. Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and it has all the comforts of home - fully stocked kitchen, garage, extra blankets, etc. If there is something you need, just pick up the phone and they will do their best to try an accommodate you. The on demand golf cart transport is very convenient. Golf course was always busy so definitely make reservations. The beach isn't swimmable but there is plenty of water activities there and a short drive to popular beaches. Nature trails are a must and they are many in the area. Trader Joe's a couple minutes drive down the road. In room coffee is absolutely delicious!! I found myself grabbing a pastry from Sea Beans and having breakfast and coffee every morning out on my patio. It would have been nice to have housekeeping every day but I understand given the current climate. I had so-so service at the restaurants but overall I would certainly recommend a weekend getaway for couples, family or friends. The sunsets literally brought tears to my eyes. Originally, I was back and forth if I should choose this resort and in the end, I'm glad I did. Beyond beautiful.

Hotel grounds and beach views are amazing. The pool was lots of fun and good (not great) dining. The service at this hotel is not up to par with the prices you're paying. They act like they don't want to be there and they're doing you a favor. Lots of pouty people walking around and they appear to be understaffed. Things took longer than they were supposed to, like food delivery, baggage handling. I walked through a picket line of disgruntled employees on the way in on one of the days. That says a lot. I did some research and there's also a law suit going on about sexual misconduct among the employees at terranea. So there's a lot going on over there and I'm guessing the service is slacking because of it.

This is a hotel in decline far beyond its prime. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, and the service was just average. This hotel caters well to the 60 but doesn’t impress this Millennial. They didn’t even clean my room for two days in a row due to “Covid,” which is an ultra flimsy policy that didn’t sit well with me. Wouldn’t we want more cleaning than less during a Pandemic? My sink was clogged, hair was in the bathtub, and my shower dripped constantly. I was unimpressed and annoyed no one was coming in to make my bed despite paying a massive premium. Again, another “Covid” policy made up by management and perceived to me to be cost savings, not health-related. If you think about it, the risk of entering the room is the same, no matter if the person is checking out or staying multiple nights. I won’t be back and will actively deter people from coming.

Came here on a visit with some family that are local and members. The building, grounds, everything was outstanding. Some of the best views of the ocean around. I plan to come back one day and stay here. It was amazing.
