I tried calling several times but line was busy each time but when I got there a guy was cleaning and cutting up a fish and someone in the back. With COVID I should have been able to just go in the pick up order and hang around in the restaurant. Other than that it was alright.

Four stars for great tasty seafood at an inexpensive price, not for ambiance. Fred's Seafood is a local \hole in the wall\ in a very good sense. Great fresh fried seafood in addition to fresh seafood market. I had a fried clam and scallop plate (17) and my wife had fish & chips (7.65). I highly recommend Fred's for anyone wanting great fresh fried seafood at a more than reasonable price. Chowder, lobster bisque, lobster rolls in two sizes also available.

Fred's has been an institution in my life. Hands down the best and freshest fried seafood anywhere. Prices are amazing especially for what you get. Go, you will come back.
