A surprisingly great place to find oysters in Reading, PA. My girlfriend and I ordered a dozen blue point oysters here. They were extra fresh and just right. She put so much horseradish on them that one of her eyeballs popped out but I managed to get it back in. Good, friendly service, reasonable prices, and an interesting atmosphere with a combination of nautical and Irish themes.

I love this place! Great food, beer and staff! It’s like being a part of a family. The ugly pretzel is a must, and their prime rib is amazing! All their food is so good, you won’t be disappointed!

She put so much horseradish on them that one of her eyeballs popped out but I managed to get it back in. Good, friendly service, reasonable prices, and an interesting atmosphere with a combination of nautical and Irish themes. When my girlfriend was baby, she used to walk by the window of this place and think she that she could never afford eat here. Now, she eats at all the fancy places and I will probably get her a wedding ring made of horseradish. The scotch egg is a particular thing to try on their menu and I suggest you do so. I can’t guarantee you’ll like it but if you don’t, it will remind you of a ham & egg jello mold you tried in the 1960s (or in a past life.) Oh, their tartar sauce is pretty great too.

This place seriously has some of the best food. The burgers here are out of this world. I used to come here a lot to couple of years ago but then I moved farther away so I stopped. Now that I'm back in the area is going to be one of my regular spots. Love this place. Can't recommend it enough.
