RPM has been managing my duplex for 3 years now. They have done an excellent job of keeping my tenants happy and me with low vacancy. Even this last turn during the covid crisis they had it on the market and rented in short order. Thanks guys!!

Absolutely horrible experience renting from day one. Rented sight unseen when we relocated to Anchorage and expected to rent an \apartment\, as advertised. Unit turned out to be a condominium, and the owners of the adjacent units were chainsmokers, meaning that the smoke-free policy in the residential lease agreement we were bound to did not apply to them. Real Property Management never had any interest in working to resolve the situation amicably, and despite having provided documentation of pre-existing medical conditions that were exacerbated by secondhand smoke exposure, they felt it was appropriate to keep our security deposit (750) when my wife and I had to break our lease early. Landlord was an absentee out-of-state individual. In the 5 months we lived at the unit, the furnace went out in the dead of winter, and we were unable to get an RPM representative on the phone for two days, when it dropped to 42 degrees inside and the pipes were hours away from freezing. We also had the ridiculous electronic doorknob break because of the way some moron installed the screen door so the handle would bang against it every time it shut, and they seemed to expect us to feel comfortable leaving our front door unlocked until they decided they would get around to fixing it.

I appreciate it when my calls and requests are taken seriously and acted upon immediately. I have never had a challenge. The maintenance team is very professional, very kind and very good at what they do. The building that I am in is very well-maintained. The grass cut, snow removed, everything is amazing. And I’m not just saying that, I am very happy to be living here. The management team at RPM is top notch. I’m glad RPM manages the place where I live.

The worst property management company in Alaska. They're shady, they lie, and they do not do anything. They don't answer their phone, or their email, or maintenance requests. They will find some way to tell you they are not the reason for your unhappiness. Whether that comes in the form of blaming the problem on you, or someone else, it doesn't matter, but what ever the problem is, it's never their fault. While they won't answer you in any manner that you can reply to, they have no problem telling the world how wrong you are in the replies to their reviews. Then they'll hide your negative review under positive reviews that directly contradict your own. We've been dealing with a water stain for months now. And they only fixed it yesterday after we left bad reviews. This was after we left emails, made maintenance requests, and made phone calls. All of which were ignored. Then they tried to tell us it was not their fault but the landlord's fault in a review the posted after they closed. But this wasn't before they somehow got three brand new 5-star reviews that directly contradicted ours'. All posted within an hour of each other, and within an hour of ours' being posted. Do not work with this company unless you want to be disrespected and gaslighted. They are truly awful, and I cannot wait until my lease is up.
