The least cooperative host we ever encountered in our life; we never got to see the cabin's interior. No pets allowed on the whole property (not even in our own vehicle). Cabins close to each other. Owner graciously refunded our payment. (Still a 200 miles round-trip fiasco)

We had a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend highly enough. The cabin is extremely convenient to west glacier via the back road to lake five. The hot tub is exceptional to relax in after a day exploring the park. Location is also convenient to Polebridge access. Cabin was ready to go, just unpack and hit the park! Thanks for providing such a wonderful and warm experience. We particularly enjoyed the wildlife viewing from the back porch. Deer, moose and bear all made an appearance.

I stayed at the Moose about a month ago with a group of friends to do some hiking and enjoy nature at GNP. The cabins were super tidy, the beds were comfy, and the ambiance was amazing. We appreciated the grills (and grill utensils) and the porches with outdoor seating. I also understand that Ryan was very responsive to all of our group’s questions regarding GNP trail availability and other important bits of info. Overall, this is a great little place to stay, and for all you get, the rates are very reasonable. I would highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here at Reclusive Moose. Everything we could’ve needed during our stay was right there. Ryan and Christie were very friendly. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals in the kitchen there and use the grill that the cabins share. It was also nice to be able to borrow the bikes to ride down to the river. The decorations were adorable and coincide with whichever cabin you’re staying in. The cabins are VERY well-kept and we will recommend these cabins to anyone we know going to Glacier, it was such a convenient place to stay (about 30 minutes from the West Glacier entrance). Looking forward to staying here again in the future when we come back to Glacier!!

First off I’d like to start off saying the cabins are clean, cozy and overall a wonderful idea. Also a great location. What I don’t appreciate is the rude customer service. We showed up and within 15 min while trying to set up were approached the the owner (Ryan) with a very unpleasant and hostile welcoming because we brought our side by side to go to glacier. No where in the site does it say no side by sides and that only 1 vehicle is allowed per cabin. The wife was nicer but still for the money paid and being a respectful group of individuals, it was very disappointing. Also don’t appreciate Ryan riding through our campsite every morning while trying to cook and can’t say good morning or be friendly. And don’t even get me started on the hidden camera in the trees that are facing the cabins with no signs advising of these cameras. Overall extremely disappointed and will not recommend. For customers that spent 2,000 for our trip, we were treated like garbage.

The cabins are darling each with a theme and all the amenities. The spot is secluded and quiet. We woke up to hummingbirds flying around the deck and other birds singing. Our hosts were gracious, helpful and fun. We plan to return next month.

This place is awesome! We stayed here last weekend and are looking forward to returning. The cabins are spaced apart just enough and are pretty much brand new. Perfect weekend getaway spot, not too far from Whitefish and right on the national forest
