Great authentic family surf shop! I have surf boards but have been having challenges as I have gotten older. Steve told me what kind of board I needed. Karen ordered it for me and me informed as to when it would arrive. Malia helped me set it up. Kala has given me surf pointers for years. They know surfing and can help surfers from beginner to expert get more out of the sport. I highly recommend this shop.

Saturday the 17th was extra special when I walked into Recon Surf Shop, stalked to ceiling with surf related merchandise, equipment and apparel. The co-owner was really down to earth,and she was so helpful. I recently moved closer to Wilmington and was looking for a new Surf Shop, and I found one !! My next board will be one of theirs, they know their s*** !!

Stopped in last minute to purchase bathing suits for an upcoming trip. The family, that owns this surf shop, is some of the best people you will meet in Wilmington. They spent a lot of time helping my wife with finding the right bathing suit. We will absolutely return to this surf shop in the future.
